The Essendon Ladies Hockey Club has a long and proud history of excellence both on field and off field. During the course of its history the club has been served by many people who have shaped it into the successful club it is today.

Of particular note are those people who hold the honoured position of Essendon Ladies Hockey Club, Life Members. Life membership is an honour achieved by few who give so much to all the members of the club. Typically our life members go about their business in an unassuming manner and never ask for the accolades which they so richly deserve. Over many years these life members have undertaken the following roles: Player, Coach, Team Manager, Club President, Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, ELHC positions on Essendon Hockey Management, ELHC positions on EFCSC and others.
